Olympic Tower, Munich, Germany

During the summer months, the concrete shaft at the top of the tower and between the platforms and the bottom side of the lower platform were partly refurbished.
The 291-m high Olympic Tower is the tallest building of Munich and since its completion in 1968, it has turned into a prominent landmark of the Bavarian capital.
Perfect combination: For setting up the suspended scaffold at the lower platform of the tower, PERI UP Flex is set at a cantilevered VARIOKIT girder structure.
Rental system components of the VARIOKIT engineering construction kit allow for the assembly of the protection mesh, which has to be mounted beforehand, and is used to set the suspended scaffold at the bottom side of the platform at a height of 152 m..
A connection actuated by gravity and thus high stability can be achieved at a height between 192 m and 243 m with system ledgers.
Circumferential toe boards and the use of PERI UP bridging boards ensure maximum safety without the risk of tripping – an important aspect for scaffolding erection and utilization.
