Concrete Maturity Computer

For the construction progress and the efficiency of a jobsite it is extremely important to know when exactly the concrete has reached a defined strength. For example, the concrete pressure resistance helps to determine when to remove auxiliary supports and formwork elements and when a finished construction part can be prestressed and can carry a load. This means that knowing about the concrete maturing process increases the safety at the jobsite, the quality of the concrete and also saves valuable time and costs.

The maturity computer MC(R)-21 of the company Verboom, which has been dealing with concrete maturing measurements for more than 30 years, determines the maturity degree and thus the pressure resistance of young concrete. It measures the development of the concrete temperature with the help of sensors in the construction part and calculates the according maturity development with the de Vree method.

Measurements are possible at any point of the structure. The installation of the computer is easy and the operation is done via logical questions on the screen.

The maturity degree testing according to DIN 1045-3 and ZTV-ING-3 is a safe method for determining the concrete pressure resistance, and this then helps to exactly determine the moment for striking, prestressing and the application of load.

Wireless data transfer is possible and data is available in an online portal in real time. All relevant persons can have access to the data from any PC with an internet connection. The integrated text message service provides information about when the pre-set maturity value has been reached.

Additionally to the maturity degree measurement, the computer can also be used for the automatic control of heat treatment and cooling of the concrete.

The weather-proof box of the computer is not bigger than a standard shoe box.
