Terms & Conditions
1. Scope of Application
1.1 By taking part in the competition, the participant accepts these conditions.
2. Organizer
2.1 The organizer of the competition is PERI Group (GER), Rudolf-Diesel-Straße 19, 89264 Weißenhorn ("Organizer").
3. Eligibility for Participation
3.1 The competition is open to all persons who, at the date of entry, are (1) aged 18 years or over; (2) resident in Germany; (3) and enrolled at a university or college
3.2 Employees of the Organizer, their immediate family members, and employees of cooperation partners involved in creating or implementing the competition are excluded from participation.
3.3 Participation is only possible on one’s own behalf, and joint submissions are not allowed.
4. Participation
4.1 Participation in the competition requires obtaining a participation card with a QR code from the PERI stand at bauma 2025.
4.2 The competition starts on Monday, 07th April 2025, at 09:30 (CEST) and ends on Sunday, 13th April 2025, at 23:59 (CEST).
4.3 To take part in the competition, the following actions are required:
- Obtain a QR card from the PERI stand at bauma 2025.
- Scan the QR code and fill out the provided form.
4.4 Each participant may enter only once.
4.5 Submissions containing any defamatory, obscene, illegal, offensive, or any other unsuitable material will be disqualified and withdrawn by the participant. Multiple submissions from the same participant will be disqualified.
4.6 The Organizer accepts no responsibility for incomplete, incorrectly completed, lost or delayed entries to the prize draw or for any malfunctions or failures in the software that has been designed to maintain the participant’s details.
4.7 The Organizer reserves the right to exclude a participant who violates these Conditions of Participation, tampers with the competition, or makes false representations or statements that violate applicable law or infringe third-party rights or goes against the spirit of the competition. If a participant is excluded, prizes and benefits may be subsequently revoked and reclaimed. In this case, a new winner will be determined pursuant to the procedure in section.
5. Prizes, Determination, and Notification of Winners
5.1 The prizes are
- 1st Place: An exclusive day at the PERI Headquarters in Weißenhorn – including a fascinating tour of the production, a company presentation, lunch at our award-winning cafeteria, and the opportunity to meet PERI colleagues from different departments.
- 2nd Place: A student starter kit (e.g., all-round charging cable, USB stick, thermos mug, and much more!)
- 3rd Place: A versatile screwdriver with an extendable telescopic blade and integrated bit magazine for various attachments and maximum flexibility.
5.2 The Organizer will determine the number of winners after the end of the competition. The winners will be randomly selected from the qualifying submissions. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes will also be assigned randomly.
5.3 Winners will be notified via email within 30 days after the competition closes.
5.4 Winners must accept their prize by replying to the e-mail within 7 days after the announcement. If a participant fails to accept his/her prize within this period, his/her prize shall be forfeited. In the case of the prize, a new winner will be determined.
5.5 Winners are responsible for any taxes or charges incurred when claiming their prizes.
5.6 Prizes are subject to availability and the Organizer reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Organizer’s control make it necessary to do so.
5.7 Compensation of the prizes in cash, their exchange, or their transfer to other persons are excluded.
5.8 The Organizer does not accept any responsibility if the participant is not able to take up the prize.
6. Data Protection
6.1 By submitting the forms document, participants agree to provide their personal information (full name, email address, phone number and university/college affiliation) which will be used by the Organizer and its authorised agents for the purposes of competition administration and prize fulfilment. Personal information collected by the Organizer is subject to the Organizer’s Privacy Policy at: https://www.peri.com/en/conditions-of-entry/privacynotice2025.html
6.2 Winners agrees to allow the Organizer to publish their name and/or surname and university/college affiliation to announce the winner of the prize on the on PERI’s social media channels. Winners may object to their names or university affiliation being published or request for the amount of information being published to be reduced.
7. Miscellaneous
7.1 The Organizer’s decisions regarding all promotional matters will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
7.2 In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Organizer, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or technical) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion or the awarding of prizes, the Organizer reserves the right to cancel or amend these terms and conditions at any stage, but will endeavour to minimize the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
7.3 If any provision of these Conditions of Participation is held invalid by any law, rule, order or regulation of any government, or by the final determination of any court of a competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions not held to be invalid.
7.4 All legal relationships arising because or in connection with these terms and conditions and the competition are subject to German Law.
