Sales Manager* - Infrastructure/Major Projects

PERI UK, flexible location: Rugby, Leeds, Birmingham

Your responsibilities

  • Monitor the long-term outlook for civil engineering projects to indicate upturn or downturns in opportunities as early as possible
  • Identify target projects early on in order to develop potential solutions in advance of project being awarded to a specialist sub-contractor
  • Prepare bid material including actual and virtual sales aids tailored for each key project, present key project bids and lead contract negotiations
  • Build hierarchical contact chain, developing relationships at senior level with key contacts
  • Deliver detailed product presentations to customers and other relevant parties e.g. owners, developers, main contractors etc

Your profile

  • Strong product knowledge of all formwork, falsework, access and shoring systems used within the sector
  • PC literate with good knowledge of AutoCAD and MS office
  • Experience of working with contractors
  • Able to balance multiple projects with strong attention to detail
  • Proven success within the infrastructure market
  • Commercial experience within the construction industry
  • Ability to influence at senior level
  • Strong leadership and teamwork behaviours
  • Effective time management skills
  • A professional approach that generates credibility and confidence in others
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Flexibility to travel and stay overnight in the UK and abroad (Europe)
