Special project on Vienna's Danube Canal
With its usable floor space of around 70,000 m², the TrIIIple is writing a new chapter in Viennese residential history. The ingenious design of the TrIIIple Towers is characterised by the cantilevers on the 11th and 22nd floors. In total, the three buildings will house 500 condominiums and 670 micro-apartments.
Temperature monitoring with sensors
A particular highlight of the construction site was the use of the PERI InSite Construction Temperature Monitoring and Concrete Maturity Kit. With the sensors used, the temperature was measured at different points in the concrete.
Concreting in less time
The data was then loaded directly into the ISC web application. This minimised the costly waiting times until the final curing of the concrete. This procedure saved a week of construction time on site.

X-shaped tree supports
The new headquarters of the building materials manufacturer HeidelbergCement consists of three interconnected building sections of different heights. The focal point of the new foyer are three x-shaped tree supports, which statically serve as the core of the building and are shaped like trees. Photo: Thilo Ross
Concrete distribution from below
A special highlight was the formwork and concreting of these tree supports in SB 4 fair-faced concrete quality. Unlike usual, the concrete was not poured from above but from below. A concrete distribution system pumped a total of 30 m³ of concrete simultaneously into three column sections and pushed the concrete upwards up to 11 m via three pump hoses in the formwork.
Monitoring of the concrete pressure
The InSite Construction Pressure Monitoring Kit optimised concreting operations by monitoring concrete pressure. The real-time data of the concrete pressure made it possible to adjust the pouring rate and make an informed decision to continue pumping from the bottom and not switch in between to fill from the top. Sensors in commercial buildings
A new commercial and storage hall with dimensions of approx. 60 m x 70 m is currently being built in Bassersdorf, Switzerland. The project also includes three underground car parks, storage areas, technical rooms and offices. For the construction of the walls, PERI's MAXIMO panel formwork was used, which rose a total of 13 m in height. The formwork was equipped with ISC pressure sensors, which meant that concreting could be carried out more quickly.

Redevelopment on a busy traffic route
The project is a major refurbishment of two concrete bridges along a busy arterial route in Leeds city centre.
Optimum rate of rise
The PERI Insite Pressure Sensor supported with a single-sided 6m-high pour on the southeast abutment wall using our. Due to the type of finish required no through-ties could be used which added to the challenge. The sensors helped to maintain an optimum rate of rise throughout the project.

Housing creation
The Elisabethplatz site creates space for needed housing as well as areas for restaurants, retail and offices. In 2020, the construction of two buildings was started in a multifaceted design, in keeping with the neighborhood. In addition to the TRIO, DOMINO and MAXIMO structure, the InSite temperature measurement system was used.
Sensors in use
In the basement floors, the InSite temperature measurement and concrete maturity system was used with six nodes during the construction of the floor slabs and later for the exposed concrete walls on the outer facade.
Automatic transmission of the data
The data of the temperature measurement by means of InSite Construction were automatically transmitted to the user. An alarm function is integrated in case of exceeding or falling below the values. This allows the next processes to be planned in concrete terms.
