PERI Know-how from over 60 Iberian dam projects is the guarantee for top results

Dry periods and rainstorms can be compensated with this colossal dam in future. 4,150 million cubic metres of water are retained by this 458 m long dam. Europe‘s largest artificial lake was created with an area of 250 square kilometres.

The flow of the water provides clean energy through 130 MW turbines. The shape of the 96 m high dam is formed from statically favourable vertical and horizontal parabolas.
Systems such as TRIO, RUNDFLEX, SKS, KG and MULTIPROP, fully compatible with each other and perfectly adapted to the geometry, are the guarantee that the tremendous size of the project can be profitably carried out.

PERI Systems In Use
  • RUNDFLEX Circular Wall Formwork
  • SKS Single Sided Climbing System
  • TRIO
  • 1.1 million cubic metres of concrete were poured during the complete 68 month construction period.
