Cost-effective Table Form Solution for Slabs and Beams
The new minor league hockey arena with its reinforced concrete structure will have three levels of seating for spectators. Pulaski chose PERI to provide a table form solution for a portion of the elevated slabs and ring beams.
Over 12,000 sqft (1,115 m²) of slab and beam tables were assembled on site and combined with MULTIPROP 480 post shores for the table requirements. The PERI MULTIPROP table system was less than half the weight of alternative steel table systems.
The PERI UZ Beam system was used for the beam side support, thereby eliminating ties through the beams.
PERI TRIO wall formwork was chosen for the interior ring walls as well as the exterior site walls due to the system''s ease of reconfiguration. The ring wall sections of wall varied in length and needed to fit between previously placed columns. Only two ties, spaced at 4 ft (1.22 m) on center, were required for the 11 ft (3.35 m) high form.
PERI also provided the HD 200 Heavy Duty shore for some of the heavy beam reshore requirements encountered on the job. The shore has a safe load capacity of up to 45,000 lbs (200 kN).
