Park Lane Tower, Business Bay, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Simple handling and easy adjustment lead to best productivity
Park Lane Tower is a 37 floor high construction of a mixed use building, comprising of basement car parks, office, clinic, hotel and service floors. PERI planned a formwork and shoring solution to meet the needs of this project.
For the columns and the core walls, VARIO GT 24 girder wall formwork is in use. The system offers maximum flexibility due to the free choice of type and size of plywood as well as the fixings, element widths and heights, vertical or horizontal tie arrangement and permissible fresh concrete pressure.
MULTIFLEX system is used for the podium and the basement slabs. MULTIFLEX is the slab formwork system for any slab thickness, any floor plan and all heights – only the statically required components are assembled.
For forming the typical slabs, table modules are applied. The table modules are pre-assembled and ready for immediate use. The robust table swivel head provides a very rigid connection to the PEP 20 props.
For the technical floor with a height of 5.80 m, a combination of MULTIFLEX girder slab formwork with the PD 8 slab tables allows for transferring the loads. PD 8 slab tables are extremely cost-effective for high clearances, furthermore the large spindling lengths allow for easy adjustment to different height requirements.
