Filadelfie Administration Building, Prague, Czech Republic
Offices with élan on a stable basis
With the help of a comprehensive formwork and scaffolding solution, the 17-floor structure - constructed in the form of a fourblade propeller - was completed in a short time. The concept was based on flexible and adaptable systems, precisely tailored to meet individual project requirements.
For the walls, TRIO and VARIO GT 24 were used: in single-sided forming operations in connection with SB brace frames, for the core formwork supplemented with TRIO shaft panels. As a result, the complete internal formwork could be moved quickly and without any time-consuming dismantling. The RAPID and QUATTRO column formwork systems guaranteed perfect concrete surfaces and short shuttering times.
The 20 to 30 cm thick standard floors were formed with MULTIFLEX - for this, two formwork girders were ideally combined: the GT 24 as stable, load-bearing main beam and the VT 20 as an inexpensive secondary beam. A transition slab was integrated within the base levels which serves to evenly spread the structure loads over a large surface. Therefore, the slab thickness is a massive 1.50 m underneath the standard ground plan. With over 40 kN/m² load, a GT 24 double main beam was used as the longitudinal girder support. For the levels on the side not built over, the GT 24 as a single main beam was suffi cient for the 60 cm slab thickness.

Senior Project Manager
“I have yet to experience a project which could not be realized with PERI systems. The special feature of this building is the 1.50 m thick floor slab which, thanks to the PERI solution, did not present any problems.”
