Safe and independent of cranes
TRIO wall formwork on self-climbing ACS brackets
The office tower, a circular steel construction with a diameter of 22.60 m, is structurally stiffened by a
7.12 x 13 m core for the lift shafts and stairwells.
The tight construction schedule necessitated the use of an automatic climbing system for forming the core, independent of the crane. After assessing various offers the decision was made to work with PERI ACS, due to its high safety standards and proven technology record.
With small core layouts there are minimum space conditions prevailing. That is why PERI used TRIO panels on the ACS climbing units for the first time. With a panel thickness of only 120 mm significantly more working and striking space could be created on the inner and outer platforms in comparison with girder wall formwork.
There was also no basic assembly time needed for the formwork panels, and the simple handling of the TRIO panels, that are easily connected with the BFD coupler, was mastered by the crew in no time at all.
Although many cast-in components had to be taken into account for the following steel construction, the 3.85 m high normal floors could be completed in a weekly cycle.
