  • flexible adaptability to the structural geometry, which means that the working platforms are able to incline to a 15° and 30° angle as a result of the horizontal position of the platforms

Location: Panama City, Panama

Two lock facilities (Gatun/Atlantic and Miraflores/Pacific) with three lock chambers created one after the other, each of which are 403 m long and 55 m wide; Lengths of the lock facilities: 1.8 km each for a total height difference of 26 m
